Just got 24" dell non-HC monitor, made in CZ rev A04. got reletively bad ghosting. I didnt notice it until i launched bf2. switching from in-cockpit view to out-cockpit view you can notice for a split second the outlines of the cockpit, then the fade. when doing loops in a jet the screen is rather blurry and kinda hard to look at. i havent got any other games installed atm but i would guess the problem is not game related. i read a great deal on OCuk forums about HC having bad ghosting issues, thats why i specifically went for non-HC version, hoping i would avoid it (especailly with A04 revision). are there any fixes for this issue? i did a quick search on the forum but came up with nothing. any help would be higly appreciated, ty

Hi mikka84, what you describe is not a "ghosting issue" as such, certainly not in the same way as we discuss the issue on the HC edition. It sounds like you're noticing motion blur, which is an inherant issue with hold-type displays like LCD screens. This blur is more to do with perceived blur and linked to how the human eye works with such displays. I dont think you'll be able to do anything to reduce it, and it is unlikely to be a fault or anything i'm afraid. What I would say is that many people find that it just takes a little time for them to adjust, and i would imagine you might well get used to the blurring and begin to not notice it.

The issue with the HC version is slightly different in that there are some pretty bad overdrive artefacts. This issue doesnt affect the regular version, but manifests itself on the HC by black ghost images, rather than any blurring issue.
