I can confirm its fantastic for gaming, hardcore COD4 player here just come from a CRT and loving the 24". It also scales fantastic so lower resolutions still look great on it.
i'd stay clear of the Dell 2407WFP-HC sadly, since it has some issues with ghosting due to poorly set up overdrive control. The original 2407WFP is still a very good bet if you can source it. It depends whether yoy want the rounded performance of S-PVA panels, as opposed to a TN Film based model (like their E248WFP for instance). Samsung have their well priced SM245B, but it is TN Film. They do have an S-PVA model, the SM245T, but i've not had chance to test that yet (although it's en route to me now )
ocuk 24". im convinced the input lag is near non-existant, and its certainly better than the 2405. its a great monitor for gaming and of course substantially cheaper.
