The U2412M is a new and slightly lower spec monitor compared to the U2410. The U2412M uses an E-IPS panel, while the U2410 uses a more expensive H-IPS panel.
The main differences in practice is that the U2410 is wide gamut (102% NTSC) while the U2412M with its slightly lower quality panel and LED back-lighting is standard gamut (71% NTSC) - also the U2410 has more video connection options. Here is a review which compares the two.
