Hi as you might no I was going to get the https://www.overclockers.co.uk/dell...reen-led-monitor-midnight-grey-mo-084-de.html but out of stock and with there email it looks like there not getting it back in.

I missed the £403 on a different web site by a couple of hour yesterday from dansew123 recommending me it. But after humming and harring whever to buy it on there as I have had problems in past with electrical stuff it was too late and now gone up to £551 only a couple of hours later :(.

Any way I use to game on a sony bravia 1080p 32" tv now I have a 1080p 144hz asus vg27he monitor which I think is really rubbish and pixelated.

Will a 24" monitor be too much of a difference for me coming from a 27" as the 24" Dell is in stock.

27" 1440p seems like the sweet spot. The monitor you linked is highly regarded, it just sucks about the amazing deals since it makes the current price harder to swallow.

Keep in mind it's CES 2017 now, so we may see some new monitors for gamers.

Thanks for replying. Sorry for all the questions but this time I want to get it completely right. The thing is though the new monitors what are going to be shown will be pricey when first come out. Its like PC all over again you just got to buy it when you feel like you seen the right one. :)

Personally I prefer 24" as I still game competitively and don't have my 27" back far enough to scan the whole screen quick. But if you're really use to 27" I don't think it will be good to go back.

I'm in exactly the same boat. Currently using a 60hz monitor on a Titan X Pascal! I'm going to hold out a couple of weeks max before I just go ahead and buy something. even if it's the more expensive Asus versions.

Thanks all. That made my mind up not just buying the dell 24" just because it stock. Will wait and see what CES will bring and release dates and how much. If the DELL comes in stock or if I see it at £403 again I will snap it up.

Like minded must be the years and years of CS 1.6 and 19 inch CRT screens! There was a reason Heaton would pwn at 800x600 res it is all about scanning and reacting check my thread on sizes and you will see what i mean. Some people simply dont get it.
