Heres the Video of a new Campain they have down here at the moment(this is for SA roads only so there are more injurys Australia wide per day then just 24)

http://www.mac.sa.gov.au/webdata/resources/files/24_hours_24_injuries_commercial.mpg

From 2000 to 2006, an average of 9,000 people have been injured on South Australian roads each year. That means 24 people are injured every day - that's 24 injuries every 24 hours. It is simply too many.

Of these, an average of 16% are injured seriously enough to require hospitalisation and many take years to recover and some never recover.

MAC's research shows that most road users greatly underestimate the number of people injured on the road and don't have an understanding of the implications of serious injury, which are sometimes lifelong.

The 24 hours. 24 injuries campaign aims to bring attention to the real extent of road trauma that occurs on South Australian roads every day.

We encourage all road users to think about the impact of road injury, not only to themselves, but also to their loved ones and to the wider community.

We are asking every South Australian road user to avoid causing trauma on our roads by not exceeding the speed limit, not drink and drug driving, wearing a seatbelt, not using a mobile phone and not driving when tired.

We developed a television commercial that is hard hitting, comprising graphic images of crash scenes and injured victims receiving treatment. For this reason it is M rated. We had to shock people into recognising the scale of the problem so they will realise the need to be careful on our roads.

The campaign might not be easy to watch, but the impacts of road crashes are normally horrific. This is an accurate depiction of the disturbing effects of road crashes and the community needs to be aware of those effects.

IMO its a good'un.
It doesnt force the fact that doing something will end up badly but it makes you think some of the things you do while you drive can result in injury or death.
It might even help those people that think that walking away from a crash isnt always the case and have a good chance of messing there life up for good.

Like i said, I think its a good'un, Its not really straight up out there message like "You'e speeding you Will die"
Its just makes you think about the What if scenario :)
