Here's a good question for the OP: How close do you sit to your screen?

Where's that chart when you need it? The one which shows screen size versus distance from screen for different resolutions.

Edit: got it http://www.gadgetell.com/images/2007/03/resolution_chart.png but it's not really relevant to such a small screen

I sit a foot or so away from the 27 that's the size limit, it pretty much fills my vision

27 1080p is fine for a tv or distance viewing but to me sacrilegious lol at standard viewing distance
