24 IPs or 24 TN?

I know not an awful lot about monitors and I've been out of the game for a while. I'm not sure of the difference between panels. My question is should I go for a smaller say 22" IPS panel or a bigger 24" TN panel? I'm using a 15 LCD at the moment with about 15 dead pixels so I'm not overly fussy.
My budget is around £130 and the screen will be used for surfing and the odd movie, no gaming.

Ive heard good things about the LG IPS235V?

Given your budget and usage I don't really think you will do much better than the IPS235V - although it is a 23" monitor and not a 24" monitor. Either way it will be a massive upgrade from your current monitor and it should serve you well.
