Hi all,
I've been asked to research suggestions for a 24" widescreen monitor for my Bro-in-law for xmas. Now it will be for making his Youtube videos, PC gaming and possible PS3 gaming.
Now I've had a browse and there are a couple I've seen:
The Acer GR235Hbmii 3D Ready LCD LED 23" HDMI Monitor @ £185 (NO DVI)
and
Benq G2420HDBL Full HD LED LCD 24" DVI-D Monitor @ £135 (NO HDMI)
There doesn't appear to be anything decent out there that has HDMI & DVI without breaking £200+
Now, I've a couple of questions. With the 3D monitor, if he connects his PS3 to that, does it use glasses with shutters that cost £50+ or do they use the same sort you get in cinemas?
Also, would you notice a terrible loss in detail using VGA over DVI-D (is there even a difference?), because if you do I think the PC will have to come first.
