(did a search for 'legacy')

Well it's back on, UKers get it on the 15th.

This one at least shows some promise not like that crappy one set in London.

No Bauer up to now, but we have Edgar's cousin :confused:

Thought the Edgar's cousin thing was a cheesy name drop way to try to link it too the main show. The episode was actually pretty decent though.

Edgar was an excellent character in Day 5 until he got Sentox'd.

Might give this a watch though I'll be honest, the trailer I recently watched made it look a little 'straight to DVD'.

This was such a lazy, cynical cash grab. As the original went on, less and less people watched, largely because it was repetitive and predictable. Legacy was an opportunity to address that but all the signs are that they haven't learned their lessons.

Aside from the countless 24 cliches, perhaps the most revealing thing about the show was the lacklustre lead. Again, they could have done something different (perhaps less physical, older, female etc) but regardless, at a minimum he needed to have a bit of presence. Sadly he was devoid of charisma and really rather wooden.

thought it was a little weird when carter killed the baddies and came out the house and gets into the pickup. It wasn't very errr tactical! He is a trained special forces agent! I wonder if that girl is going to turn out to be the new Kim Bauer :roll eyes:

Dear me, I thought I would give this show a go but the story is just the same with a slight spin. I'm going to give it a few episodes and see if they do anything new.

^^ I only got to the 3rd episode - lead characters just simply don't have the quality to carry the show all just way too bland.

I was worried not having Jack and the lead simply isn't "Dammit" Bauer. However the story really is hotting up and starting to look a lot like 24. looking forward to the next one.

Come on there's only so many times people can go "rogue" against ctu. It's happening nearly every episode/hour at the moment.

Was that the last epsiode? A little under whelming and it is no longer 24 because it's 36 now?
