Hi everyone, first post!
I'm looking for a 24" monitor for use with PS3 and XBox 360. I'm currently using an ASUS VH222H, however after years of using a laptop, I've just bought a desktop PC, and I'm planning to relegate the ASUS to PC duties and get a new 24" (or 27") monitor for gaming.
What I really would like is decent integrated speakers, in reviews everyone always says monitor speakers are pointless, and whilst this might generally be true, my current ASUS monitor has pretty good speakers, certainly more than adequate for my needs. I did try an Iiyama B-series monitor, but I returned it because the speakers were pathetic. I'm worried about buying another monitor online and having to return it for the same issue!
If possible I'd also really like a stand that would do portrait mode!
I'm considering the BenQ GL2450 and the ASUS VE247, the ASUS VG248QE adds the portrait mode, but is so much more expensive, and I don't want to be paying for 140hz and 3D stuff that is no use to me.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
