24" monitor for graphics work (and games.. of course!)

I'm looking to buy a monitor that's going to produce great contrast and colour and be accurate doing it! I've looked at the Dells (which look good) and the top class Eizos which I'd LOVE but wow, too expensive!

Is there any monitors that come close to the Eizos but without the price tag?

I could handle 22" but I want 24" because.... well, it's bigger!

Thanks, so far I'm swaying towards your LG245WP. Read a review here:

As I only use the monitor for my PC (no 360 etc) I think the LG would suit my needs best?
