Hi,

As like a lot of people on here at the moment im looking for a 24" monitor for gaming mostly and then watching films/tv second.

ive been looking at the Benq XL2410T but some reviews are saying this is not good for films/tv so im a little stumped.

the benq is at the top of my budget. are there any other monitors that match it on gaming performance but beat it on Films/TV?

any advice greatly appreciated as need to buy asap as my old monitor(samsung 245B) died and im using a tiny one :(

Cheers mohawk

If you can hang on and save a bit of money maybe, this is probably the best 24" monitor you can buy at the moment that isn't massively expensive:

Dell UltraSharp U2412M

Fantastic IPS panel and LED monitor. We use these at work as well as the professional U2410 version (more expensive with more colours), excellent monitors.

However seeing as you need it asap and you really can't hang on, I recommend this:

Dell Professional P2411H

No IPS panel, but still a great monitor with a fantastic warranty service from dell.

I think for mostly gaming and some film/tv you will be fine with the 120hz benq. or the very slightly smaller LG W2363D (if its fps gaming which will probably get the most benefit from these screens)
