24" Monitor Help

Hi I have got £200 to spend on a new 24" monitor and was thinking of either

The Dell one is the best out of all of them obviously.

The cheaper samsung one is good, the only difference to the more expensive samsung is the latter has 2ms response time as opposed to 5ms which is better for gaming.

If you don't mind spending 200 bucks I'd get the dell one otherwise just get the 170 pound samsung.

I wouldn't go for the LED one as it doesn't have a HDMI slot so it would be easier to plug your XBOX into the other 3.

The B2430 gets my vote as I've used the smaller sibbling (23") as well as the Dell ST2420 and found the gradients on the Samsung to be smoother and the responsiveness in fast motion to be slightly superior. The B2430 actually has an ISO response time of 5ms. Grey to grey is less, and this is what is almost always stated as 2ms. I'm not sure why Samsung (and indeed other manufacturers) sometimes quote ISO instead of G2G for some models but not others as it's a bit confusing and misleading.

But with LCD units, how much difference does the 2ms over 5ms actually make?

Why is the dell better? looking at the spec the samsung P2450H has a better Contrast Ratio and responce time and everything else the same.
