24" Monitor - With Speakers

I'm looking to replace my aging Hyundai L90D+ with a monitor around 24".

It's my secondary machine so mainly use it for watching movies and web browsing, with the occasional MMORPG thrown in.

My main problem is not of space, but of power sockets. So I'm looking for something with speakers built in.
I know built in speakers are never going to be great, but some that aren't completely appaling would be a massive bonus.

I don't have a specific budget, but somewhere under £300 (the more change the better) would be good.

For some the dell monitors you can buy a dell soundbar that fixes to the bottom of the monitor

2" bigger than you wanted but is 1920*1200

Went with the Logitech S-150 and Samsung P2450H combo in the end, ordered yesterday and arrived today.
I had to buy a USB extension cable as the cable on the speakers is very short, but am very impressed with both monitor and speakers.

The speakers are very loud considering their small size, and the carry case with them is pretty handy if you're using them with a laptop.

I've never really understood the 16:9 vs 16:10 argument, but now I see one of each next to each other it really is quite noticable. 16:10 looks square by comparison, but to be honest I couldn't say that 16:10 would be worth the price difference.

I would recommend BenQ EW2420!

It has speakers and is a really great monitor with great blacks and really great for especially movies therefor. If you aint in a hurry I would instead buy EW2430 though which is on the way to the market.

The speakers on it are meant to be pretty bad though, especially over HDMI. Several owners, some of which have posted on this forum (see here and here), have said the bass is completely cut off with HDMI audio.

Hopefully the EW2430/EW2430V fairs better, as well as quality control issues.
