24" or 26"

Hey guys, just wondering what your thoughts are on the above sizes of monitor. Both resolutions are normally the same afaik 1980x1200? but I'm just wondering which one people'd recommend in terms of size. Sitting around 2-3ft away from the screen.

Was considering 24, but seeing more and more 26s around for decent money, so am tempted and not sure which one to go for. Looking for some advice as im sure others had faced this choice

Well I just got a 24" (upgraded from 19") and sitting about 2' away it's taking a LOT of getting used to, it bleeds into your peripheral vision

I'm not sure, but unless you're sitting a decent distance away, anything larger could be a bit taxing on the eyes.

I'd say go for 26" if you're going to use it to watch movies and the like on.

If you're going to use it a lot at the desk, get a 24''. The dot pitch on a 26'' will be larger (because of the increase in screen size, but not the same resolution) so the 24'' should look a bit less jaggy.

Yeah; 26" seems to be an awkward middle ground, dot pitch wise.
