Hi all,

Posted the other week about 24 inch options and was advised a Dell u2412m 1980x1200. Budget was around £200. The wife is kindly adding £50 to the fund for birthday so are their any decent 27" options in the £250 bracket. Mild gaming, Photoshop and Video Editing Go Pro footage main uses.

Cheers

No idea if this is any good or if your system will truely be enough for it (might need to lower res/settings in games), I don't have it but has been brought up a few times by others and it's 'on clearance offer'

Hazro 27" 2560x1440 Resolution etc -

The other 27's are all 1080p in your price range so you might as well go 24"

If you want to stick with a 24 inch at 1080p I'd suggest the dell p2414h which is around £165 (it's not a 'gamer monitor' it's a ips), there are obviously cheaper options, then use the other 100 for a better gpu such as the R9 270 (or gtx 750 - cuda encoding?), yeah it might be a 'little' over budget but it would be the direction I'd go :)
