24 Pin PSU extension cable missing

Hi,
I've just received the NZXT 24 pin white power extension cable.
I unpacked it and noticed that one of the cables was missing.
it is 5th in from the left on the side with the clip.

Is this normal, a redundant cable or somthing?
Or do I need to send this back to OCUK?

OK brilliant.
I was extra curious because the one next to the missing one was also loose when it arrived. Just put that back in OK.

Just to put your mind at ease, here's a page with some info.

But basically nothing uses the -5 volt line any more so it's not included in most PSU's, hence the missing wire.

OK read that article thanks.
It mentioned that adding another connector between the PSU and motherboard will increase the resistance and can cause heat issues in the cable.
Is it really a bad idea to use this NZXT product then?

Thanks all for the info, got home from work after talking to you. Wacked them straight in and here is the result:

Shame I havnt got a shorter PSU, could fit all the cables in the first bottom grommet if I did.
