Ahoy,

Looking for a new 24" main monitor to replace my BenQ G2400W as this is being relegated to secondary since my LG226WTQ has finally died after nearly a decade of abuse.

  • £200-250-300
  • Almost exclusively used for gaming (movies will be on secondary) but occasional movies
  • Never used V-Sync due to input lag, not sure if G-Sync is worth it (I loath the idea of being locked to Nvidia for the lifespan of a monitor)
  • 24" is fine for me (desk space is an issue and I play fairly close to monitor. Could squeeze in a 27" if it's worth it (budget up to £300 in this case + see below for performance drop concerns)
  • 1080p is fine for me at the distance I play and I imagine I'd prefer the quality from 1080p rather than the drop in performance going up to 1440p (have a 1070 so not sure how much the drop would be - genuinely not sure if I should go up or stick with what I know)
  • Mostly play in dark room, so no glow preferred
  • Good blacks
  • Height adjustable would be nice
  • Low profile (depth wise) - my desk is only so big and monitor needs to be as close to the wall as possible (fairly tempted by the 24" curved Samsung, but the hinged arm looks like it takes up way too much room :()
Think that's it.

Cheers y'all :)

Cheers for the help so far.
Have been reading up on the C24FG70 and it seems like it has a fairly common purple blur issue that doesn't appear to have been fixed yet. The stand will definitely be too large and I'm not in a position to mount, also not 100% sold on the curve and/or price. So... yeah... maybe something else. xD
