24" vs 27"

Hi.. well im pondering on whether to get 24 or 27 inch monitor.. is the bigger size much more noticable? im going to be sitting fairly close a lot of the time..

also the prices are basically the same for 27" and 24".. so does this mean the panels are worse in the 27"..

thank you. was very useful when deciding which monitor to buy. I went for the 23" asus with the ips panel as Id rather nice quality colours and picture over size.. Thanks again
