my old AOC 17" monitor is about to die and I could do with some help.
I don't play games these days, so having the fastest thing on the planet is not high on my priority's any more. In saying that, a lot of desktop space to save on scrolling and tabbing would help me quite a bit.
I have an old Geforce 6800nu, it does the job I need so I don't really want to change it. The question I have is, will I be able to run a 24" screen with this, or am I going to have to get something much smaller? And if I get get something smaller, like a 20", why would I want a 22" that has the same screen resolution (I'll be only using it from directly in front of it)
I will add that until this monitor started to die I was quite happy with its 25ms and 1280x1024 spec, but now I'm in this position to change, I think more desktop will come in handy
