240 AIO enough for 5700X3D?

I currently have a 5800X3D being cooled by an Arctic Liquid Freezer 360, and I'm looking to stick a 5700X3D in my other half's PC. She doesn't want a particularly large case and she needs to retain a 5.25" optical drive so from what I've seen I'll be limited to a 240mm AIO if I want to mount it in the top of the case.

This should be enough for a 5700X3D, right? Quiet operation is also important. There's nothing else particularly hot in there, the graphics card is the Asus 4070 Dual.

It would *work*, it might restrict how much it boosts?

If it’s anything like the 7800X3D it certainly loves brief spikes in temperature. Funnily enough I’m preferring a good air cooler (Frost Commander) on my current build after years and years using AIOs. Was super cheap too. Also looks brilliant in black in my case. It is absolutely huge though.

7950x3d uses 150w on pbo
The reason you want the biggest cooler you can get is that the x3d portion of the chip sits right on top of the CPU, in-between the CPU and the IHS. So this means that the heat gradient is decreased...and by extension, the cooler efficiency decreases and the CPU runs warmer
