Hi all. I'll be building a PC for my brother soon and I should've checked this first but I've already got the parts. Just wanted to get some reassurance that a 240 AIO i.e: Liquid Freezer II 240 would be enough as a CPU cooler for a Ryzen 7800X3D? No overclocking or anything.

Thank you!

I use an air cooler on my 7800X3D (Deepcool AG500) and never have issues gaming, most times temps around 65c in gaming (only Starfield goes into 70c or so) so all solid, also there is cpu thermal heat protection on the motherboards that prevents overheating, I set mine to 83c manually in BIOS, 7800X3D safe limit is 89c. So yes cool gaming chip in general and I game a lot .

:)
Thank you very much, my brother has the PC now and thankfully no issues whatsoever! :D
