£2400 Spec x 2, themeing caveats. Can it be done?

Hi Folks,

I am looking to build two PCs, budget roughly £2400 each. These are enthusiast/gaming PCs used in dual monitor setups(I have one decent monitor for each of the PCs already, require one more good 27"). Lots of gaming, streaming, and all that good stuff. I would like them future proof as much as they can be. I've got a general build that I can supply you; This is rough and I'm open to suggestions. I'd like to go Titan, though.

CAVEAT

these will be displayed windows facing out into a games room so we'd like them to look stunning. Hence why we have a left and right window config - they'll front face each other with the windowed side pointed into the games room. LED lights/cable management/Build would be great. I'm open to suggestions and additions etc.

PC1
Ideally I'd like a white case/component setup with blue hue LED for PC1 (Think good guys, jedi)

PC2
A black case/component setup with red LED for PC2 (Bad guys, sith) I'm aware right side windows are rare but I have one in the spec below that seems good.

My rough build, almost didnt post these but I wanted you guys to know that I did try before asking for help! :)

I've only really skim read this; but if you're wanting 2 of the same cases, one 'right handed' one 'left handed' then the Silverstone TJ07 is capable of doing this as far as I'm aware (You can reverse them with not much work) You would have to get the solid version and cut your own windows though as the only windowed case they sell has one on the left in a standard setup - plus I've never liked the stock TJ07 window as it is (despite having one myself!)


the systems you propose (cooling wise) will look reasonably small / lost in a case of this size though, be aware of that! there's a lot of room to fill.
Also be aware that a reversed case means the motherboard will be upside down, graphics on top, chip on bottom etc so consider that.
 
Thanks Stulid, I was hoping you'd see this thread. That case is gorgeous. Could probably live with a smaller SSD - I've been using two intel 80gb in raid0 for a long time. I just run windows and critical progs from it. The money saved could towards the Titanx? Also don't need the 2TB barracuda as I have it already - sorry I didnt mention that, will edit post.
 
R B Customs, I dont mind having two different cases. I'd rather not customise anything myself - I'm abit ****less at it. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Great stuff Stulid, you've totally bought into the themeing I was going for. For the red/black I can also step down the SSD to 250gb so that would save a little. I'd look to add the LED strip to it, too.

The monitors can just be all black if there are other options - it's just the cases that need the theme

lol I assumed you were going for total OCD symetry. FWIW they're not hard to reverse, they are kinda meant to be able to do it, the holes are all there for it I just can't rememeber off the top of my head if it's screws or rivets that hold the rails in. Essentially the motherboard and cards are housed on a pre-fabricated tray which slides in to the case on rails - move the rails to the other side of the case and flip the tray upside-down. that's all there is to it. the window utting would ideally be done by a pro; its not that expensive to have them laser cut.

but yea, if it's already done then that will make your life easy!

Not a huge fan of that big case. Do we know if ocuk has a service where they'll put these together? I know it's frowned on for enthusiasts but it's a lack of time and the worry of knackering it up that I ask!
 
They will, but its not going to be cheap for these sorts of specs.
