Before anyone says you should have bought a 2500k i didnt no what the k stood for untill today....

anyway my problem is in the bios its saying turbo mode optimum perofrmance (along thos lines) 3950 MHz ( fluctuates up and down )

but on CPU-z it says im only getting 3150 ...

anyone help as im a bit underwhelmed by this stuff tbh.:(

If you bought it online and you're still within 7 days of reciept, you'll be covered under the DSR to return it for a refund :)

I think you should go have a read HERE

It is a bit technical but the first couple of pages will explain what you need to know. If you have no interest it overclocking your system to crazy levels then the work that the Turbo mode does is more than enough. When it kicks in your system is running at nearly 4GHz that is not to be sneezed at.

As long as it's re-sellable (i.e. you haven't hit it with sledgehammer in frustration) and you received it 7 days ago or less, they must refund you under DSR.

think im just going to keep it , its averaging 3.97Ghz now after some fiddling.
