Hi, was wondering if anyone knew the soloution to the following problem.
Im currenty running Windows Vista x64 Ultimate, along with a 2405FPW monitor and a Nvidia 8800GTX card powering the display. When I try and install newer drivers than the one currently installed ( 169.06 ) the PC will ask to be rebooted as normal and upon booting into windows the display goes into a power save state. Any ideas?
I used to have this kind of problems years ago with older CRT monitors having resolution issues upon boot up, but have had this monitor for a few years and it seems to just not like any newer drivers. Wether its Vista being the culprit?
any ideas are dearly grateful as I would like to get off these older drivers.
Thanks
