2408WFP A02 or U2410?

The monitor will be used for general desktop use, TV, gaming and movies.

I'm not to sure about the U2410 because of the problems documented here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18049798

If you want to be certain your getting a display which works get the 2408WFP

But then again, I wouldn't ever buy from Dell again.

2408 gets my vote (and I'm only running an A01) - a great all round monitor be it games or films

I'm staring at a pair of 2408WFPs right now and I'm extremely happy with them. If I were buying right now then the IPS panel of the U2410 would be very tempting indeed, though, especially since the U2410 is actually slightly cheaper.

Edit: On the other hand, having read the lengthy thread on problems with the U2410 maybe I'd stick with my original choice!
