Hi all,

I'm hoping to upgrade in the new year. I'm looking for a decent gaming monitor with 2 HDMI slots so I can alternate between PC and playstation.

When video cards become readily available and cheaper I'd be looking at 2560 x 1440 gaming with a decent refresh rate.

I'm thinking 27 inch but how is 32 inches at that resolution??

Any suggestions?

If you have PS5, for some lame reason it still doesn't support 2560x1440 but only 1920x1080 and 3840x2160:

To get around that some 2560x1440 monitors have "PS5 mode" in which they pretend to be 4K monitors and then downscale that.
(with HDMI 2's low bandwidth than means more than 60Hz needs lossy chroma subsampling which is bad for games with lots of text)

If you're on budget that MSI G273QF would be great choise with AU Optronics panel giving also good contrast for IPS unlike LG panels.
Though stand lacks adjustments and might need replacement...

For higher up 27" including good stand and very wide colour gamut my choise would be MSI MAG274QRF.
MSI 27" MAG274QRF-QD 2560x1440 IPS Quantum Dot 165Hz 1ms FreeSync/G-Sync Widescreen LED Backlit Gami= £398.99
It also has that 4K input mode for PS5.

Not sure how many 32" monitors there are with that feature.
Asus PG329Q advertises it, but costs very salty for resolution £650.
