Just my 2p regarding PoundHost - beware

I had a Hyper-V server with them in 2009-2010. There were numerous reliability issues and in the end, after a period of nearly 56 hours of downtime, I had little choice but to take my business elsewhere. The support guys told me that the issue causing that outage was "out of their hands" which may well be true but left me feeling that the support staff didn't really care if my server was up or not. They refunded me part of my invoice for that month as per the SLA, but I would not host any of my servers with them again.

Once bitten, twice shy!!

In contrast we have two servers with them and they've been great: I knackered the networking set-up on one of them a few times whilst trying to get Hyper-V working (beware over remote desktop!). They let us have far more KVM over IP time than we were meant to (for free) until it was fixed again and even helped out.

They also respond very quickly to support requests in my experience.

We pretty much always 100% network uptime too.
