Channel 4 have just reported that there is speculation (source inside British Gas parent Centrica) that a 25% hike in gas prices, along with a rise in electricity prices, is likely to happen in the coming weeks, possibly even this week, from British Gas. 
Just glad I'm on a fixed price contract, but I dread to think what the hike is going to be next year when that ends.
