If you need a case and power supply too, i5 won't be possible on a budget of £250. Best I could do:

YOUR BASKET
1 x AMD A10-5700 3.40GHz (Socket FM2) APU Trinity Quad Core Processor (AD5700OKHJBOX) £95.99
1 x Gigabyte F2A88XM-HD3 AMD A88X (Socket FM2+) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £52.99
1 x Antec VP450P 450W '80 Plus' Continuous Power Supply £41.99
1 x TeamGroup Elite 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TED34GM1600HC11DC01) £32.99
1 x Antec VSK4000 Midi-Tower Case - Black £27.95
Total : £261.50 (includes shipping : £8.00).

The SATA hard drive should be reusable

Thanks currently I'm using Intel duel core 2.16 GHz with 3 gig ram that works fine, would want a tad more power if buying new

Sorry for the link

Thanks again

:)

From what I gather at the lowe end of the scale you get more bang for your buck (well pound but let's not get technical LOL) going the AMD route, just some food for thought from what i have observed. :)
