250 gts problem, black screen

Hi recently got bfg 250 replacement for my 8800gtx 1gig version, am now having the following problem when running stalker clear sky,oblivion,scs benchmark
The moniter goes blank,carn't ctrl/alt/delete and i have to restart the pc,have the latest nivida drivers installed,there was no problem like this with my 8800gtx or with my brothers 285 gtx,
Infact i have removed the gts 250 and reinstalled the 285 ran same games,the problem did not occur.surley this sujjest a problem with gts 250? the temp were fine around mid 70s.

What OS are you currently using? I've had aa similar issue with EVE Online when alt+tabbing and I feel it may be windows 7 related in my case.

Are those temperatures recorded whilst in game or idle? You could take a look at past drivers and try some of the pre 190 drivers, I have heard most of the more recent nVidia drivers aren't very well made. Otherwise try reinstalling the latest drivers from a clean gpu driver un-installation.

If the driver I would contact BFG and get a second RMA on the go, unfortunate but by the sounds of things it is a messed up card. Good luck and post back with any results.
