£250 upgrade

Currently looking to upgrade my system.
I've had my current CPU/Mobo for about 4 years now so think it's time to change.

Current rig

AMD Athlon ii x2 240
MSI GF615M-P33
Corsair 4GB DDR3 1333mhz

Will need OS as well if possible with that budget unless there is a way to keep my W7 that I currently have.

Not much you could do with upgrading the main parts of the PC due to the budget. Do you have an SSD?

500gb Samsung F3
CM Storm scout case

As for the purpose it's a little bit of both. I play games on it but they aren't big games. The processor usage is usually quite high from what I have noticed so just want that extra bit of power for it.

No I don't currently have an SSD.

Is there anyway to keep my windows 7? It is a OEM copy. Or do I have to buy another full license again?
