£2500 Budget....

Yeah save yourself £150 and get this instead of the 680 - there is literally no difference - see this review..

Also change the RAM to this kit which has loads of raving good reviews.

Other than that, perfect. :D

I would just get a Phantek / SilverArrow / Noctua NH-D14. Job done.

Rest is very good. Maybe replacing case fans, and getting a fan controller. Which you can do later if that's a problem or want a little case customisation. If you swap front intake 200mm fan, you will need 20mm thick fan, like the Bitfenix Spectre Pro 25mm. The obsidian 650D is a bit of a pain in the neck in that regard.

Don't forget hard drive (2TB something).

Win 7 Home premium will limit you to 16GB memory (14+2GB with video card). In case you are looking at more memory later. Still fine with another 8GB set, but going 32GB you need professional edition.

with the spectre pro, you wont be able to use the leds I think.

It's all a bit of a mess with that case. Use it stock and see your options later.

Otherwise, ok. It's not gonna be a hot rig anyway.

EDIT :

Like the previous review, I also used t to replace my stock 200mm corsair fan on my 650d and it is definitely quieter.

I can feel (by hand mind you) that it's moving quite a bit more air than the stock fan which is a huge thumbs up for me. The LED isn't so bright that it blinds you and casts a nice glow in the case.

Installation was a little fiddly in my case (I have kept both 3x3"5 drive bays in my 650 lying next to each other) and it was a little bit of a tight squeeze but the fan is in nicely as well as the hdd cages.

Definitely recommend.

Hey, looks like you'll be all right.
