I was going to splurge on a complete new system but after the disapointment of the bulldozer reviews I have decided to recycle as much of my old Q6600 system as possible and just do an interim upgrade for now.
How does this look and will I be able to overclock it a bit to see me over until next year?
Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail
Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9)
I have a REALLY old SLI antec 650watt psu, but it has a 24pin connector and a 12volt 4 pin connector, so that should be ok?
I have a H50 in there, enough cooling?
1 SSD drive, 1 sata drive, dvd drive & a 5870 in a lian li case.
