2500k high temp?

Ah just noticed this thread thatll be why you mailed me, I hope you got the message back lol

Freezer Pro Rev 2 - Lanboy air case though so it means two 80mm fans are sat over the top of the freezer pro, plus one exhaust (but blowing inward) aswell as one at the front blowing inward also.

Gfs pc is running hotter though and only overclocked to 4ghz @ 1.75v in bios, cpuz showing 1.160 under full load in prime95. Just running a test now, idle is 35 but without a 10minute warmup idle so thats from cold. Will update for you shortly.

I think I tried 4.4ghz @ same volt on mine, it ran stable but ran too hot

Edit: 120mm fans not 80 sorry :)

I think mine is running hot on new build 38C idle, this is with a H100 push/pull fans on max. Scratch that they're fine just run real temp 24c, the MSI bios reads 38C.

My 2500k is 42c using stock intel cooler @ 4.2GHz on desktop right now nearly idle, room temp is 24 (going to open a window actually :D )

my room temp is 24.4 & my 2500k @ 4.5 temp is 25c. i have a very good case with decent airflow (7 x 120mm fans) & ultima 90 cpu cooler.

The case is a Zalman MS1000-HS2 with 3 x 140mm fans, 1 x 120, 2 x 92. All running fairly slow to keep the noise down, I dare say if I cranked them up I'd get significantly lower temps, I have them all bar the 120mm PWM controlled from the CPU's fan header.
