Currently reapplying my overclock because I lost my last one and I can't remember it. My issue is i set the voltage to 1.27 in bios, CPU-Z reads it as 1.238 and HWMonitor is reading it as 1.376.

What should i be trusting?

Edit: Just noticed wrong place, could it be moved to overclocking please :)

hwmonitor could be right if it takes into account of what loadline calibration adds

when you stress the cpu does the cpu voltage climb any higher in cpu-z?

It doesn't fluctuate, when i increase it in the bios it goes up on reboot but not to what i set. Where as HW fluctuates quite a lot.

That makes a lot more sense, I have no idea why I was looking at the VID, thanks :P

Further more what do i then trust more hw or my bios, don't fancy pushing over 1.355 currently says im at 1.332

I use Open HW Monitor, and I trust the read-outs from this:

Compare with your other HW monitor and then you will have a better idea!

Hope this helps

Cheers, I'll give it a shot tomorrow. No matter what the case im set to 1.335 in bios right now and I'm stable at 4.4, can't remember how i got 4.5 stable last time.

I've always trusted a combo of CPU-Z and the BIOS. As far as I can tell HWMonitor Vcore is identical to CPU-Z on my Sabertooth Z77.

If it makes you feel better my 2550K has been running between 1.35-1.4v for it's entire life without any issues or degradation.
