Hey guys,

Just having a first crack at overclocking my 2500k. All I've done so far really is set the turbo multiplier to 45 to give me 4.5Ghz. I'm running Prime at the moment and my core temps so far are 62, 66, 65 and 62c.

I'm using an Asus P8P67 Pro.

CPU-Z is reporting the vcore as 1.32v at load. I've deliberately avoided touching the Vcore so was suprised to see it above stock. Does it automatically overvolt when under load or something?

Are the temperatures ok?

Temps are fine, but being a 32nm process and very efficient I would expected them to be a bit lower than that.

Did you leave Vcore as auto? If so you'll see it fluctuate constantly. But 1.32v is safe for SB - should be stable at 1.30v tbh.
