Hi guys, hoping you can help me with my overclock.

Specs:

2500k
Asrock z68 extreme 7 gen 3
corsair h100
crucial ballistix tactical tracer 1866mhz

Currently I've done a stability test at 4Ghz on stock volts, right now I'm refining my 4.5Ghz OC.

I just want to go as high as I can on my current cooling.

Below is a quick prim95 run. 1.4v is set in the bios, how high can this go without damaging the chip? any and all help is appreciated ^^

Dunno, I've got a lot to learn :p

I've set it to fixed 1.4 but getting some Vdroop as seen in cpuz, this is with LLC 5 so I'm going to bump that up a notch or two.

Haven't touched turbo voltage, reading about what each thing does and adjusting it as I go along :D going to be a fun week :D

My board has a couple of minor scratches on the bottom heatsink and a small dent/scratch on the 3way sli bit! I do wonder what they did to score it though XD

Have you got your LLC set properly (in line with my post a few posts above), so your idle and load vcore are similar (if not the same)?

So I'm at 1.4 in the bios, 1.3911 VID on coretemp and 1.288 vcore on cpu-z.

I need to raise my LLC until the vcore or vid matches the bios setting??

Didn't get a chance last night, looks like it could be Thursday before I take another crack at it.

Those were under prime95 load, my LLC was set to auto at the time (rookie move :D)

My board only gives LLC levels and not %, levels 1-5 is it safe to assume it's just 20% jumps?
