Recently built my first SFF pc. Haven't really done much on it yet, but appears nice and stable.

Install the Asus AI Suite that comes with it to keep an eye on temps etc and it's reporting a healthy 40 degrees c at idle. However just to check last night I installed Speedfan and it's reporting temps at over 70 degrees at idle, but does seem rather erratic, jumping from 66 to 70 to 64 quite quickly!

Which do I believe? I'm a but apprehensive to use Prine incase it fries anything!

Spec is Asus mitx mobo, 2500k, thermalright axp 140 cooler without fan and a sharkoon 800 140mm blowing directly over cooler in a Lian-Li PC-Q11 case.

Cheers

Speedfan can be wrong if looking at incorrect temp or does not find your correct m/b sensors.

Try CoreTemp its better.
