Hi Guys

Just wanted to see if these temps seem OK during BF3 (its about all im guna play for the next year anyway!)

All Cores run around 25 - 36c during idle or just messing around on the net etc.

During BF3 they are upto 55- 64c. Ive got the Asaka Venom cooler fitted and the Cooler Mater HAF case which has some pretty big fans in.

Ideally check temps with something like Prime or Intel burn test (IBT), but as Raikiri mentions there fine during BF3 gameplay.

Looks fine for bf3. The wide discrepancy between cores could be down to cooler mounting. But slight differences between individual cores is very common on intel quads. Ive only seen one screenshot of an intel quad with perfectly even core temps.

I would personally not worry about changing, I suspect there would be only minimal difference in temps.

Fair enough, I'll leave it as it then! Having said that for some reason my over clock failed a few weeks back, and I've just left it at default since so when I figure what caused that, it may be worth it.

You might need a slight vcore increase or the system may of thrown a wobbler, in the past my system has done that, reapplied the over clock and all was well.

I got rid of those sealed water cooled units, find them too noisy. I'm using a Tranquilo with an Akasa Viper PWM fan and it's near enough silent. 25C-55C on an i5 2500K @ 4.0. Fan whines a bit when the CPU is going full tilt.
