2500k Z68Ap

Hi,

I have had my 2500K a while now, use to run it at 4.0 on my previous p67a board, I have now got the Z68AP.

Using my 2500k in conjuction with the Corsair A50 cooler, my max temps seem to reach around 55 and idle around 30 using some diamond paste I recieved from OCUK a while back.

One question is though I am only at 4.3 now on 1.35v and anything paste 4.3 gives me the 0x00124 bsod.

Any ideas? would like to hit 4.5 or more really.

The 124 error code means you need either more Vcore or VTT to the CPU.

Try adjusting VTT first then adding a touch of Vcore to solve the error your seeing. VTT on that CPU upto 1.25 is fine. Try 1.1 first.

Okay, still at 4.3 but I drecreased volts down to 1.295 and upped the VTT to 1.1. Seems to be stable ill try speed soon.
