Most of the settings in the BIOS are fine to be left on auto/default - especially if you are not sure what they do.

I would recommend reinstalling windows as motherboard swaps can mess stuff up. I had to when I upgraded from a Gigabyte Z68 to a MSI Z77 despite keeping my 2550K and everything else the same.

Just copy the install folders over and then after you have re-installed windows, move them back. Then when you go to install the programs point them to the relevant folders.

Been running as is for a couple of days with no obvious problems.
Will see how it goes for now.
