I’ve had IPS monitors for so long that I’ve forgotten what TN monitors look like.
My final item needed is a new monitor.
I don’t have the room for a 34” 3440x1440 monitor though would love one.
That leaves me with either UHD or 2560x1440.
I’ve had a few UHD monitors but the scaling is too small @ 27”, it just makes text etc too small.
That leaves me with 2560x1440 and also TN or IPS.
I see TN have higher refresh rates but there are some 120Hz+ IPS monitors but they are priced ridiculous.
I’m stuck at what to choose.
I’d like a ROG swift but they aren’t worth £750 (to me anyway).
The cheapest 2560x1440 IPS G-Sync that I can see on OCUK is £650, is the equilavent ROG worth the £100 more?
What other options do I have? No monitor smaller than 27” and no bigger than 30”.
I don’t want 2560x1080 either, doesn’t appeal to me.
I only play FPS games so would benefit from a high refresh rate.
