2560x1440 v 2560x1080p

As above would there be a very noticible difference between these 2 resolutions?

2560 X 1080 is ultra wide and the basic entry level for this kind of monitor, i personally wouldn't recommend that over a good 1440p 27" , games and content look quite pixelated compared to a 1440p screen

If you've never experienced both you wouldn't know much different but 1440p is much nicer to have for all around use IMO especially web-browsing, etc.

It's also, for me at least, a great resolution for gaming. I'd never go back to 1080p.
Saying that though, my laptop is 1080p but on a smaller screen so the res doesn't feel too bad if I'm honest and it just works.

1440 all day long is choosing between them, anyone who has games at 1080p and then 1440p would never dream of going back to 1080p.
