26" HD LCD with really black blacks?

Hey guys,

Been tempted with the A321 for £600, but I'm wondering if I should spend ~£600 on a 26" panel to get better quality image?

It will be for console use and DVD, but no TV whatsoever. DVD player will be upsampling to 720p and consoles will obviously involve fast-motion.

The two gripes I have with some LCDs are the blacks and the ghosting.

Is there a 26" panel with really dark blacks and no motion artifacts / ghosting? I saw a nice Samsung with a 3000:1 contrast ratio in a shop the other day (don't know the model number though).

Thoughts?

i've been looking at LCDs around 23" and 26" and the best so far seem to be the new Sony 26" and the Panasonic 26" (this is down to me actually seeing the sets)

I saw an incredible 26" Sony the other day, but it was £1000+ The picture really was something else though

Just had a quick look (online) at these:

Without seeing them in the flesh, how do I choose?
