there is a similar thread for the Wii at the moment. i am about to purchase a 26" lcd for my 360 and although it is expensive i really like the look of the Panasonic 26" TX-26LXD70.

does anyone have one of these or, in fact, can offer me an alternative that is good for gaming? please don't suggest anything other than a 26" as that is the size i want. it is for my games room rather than downstairs. hence the reason for this size.

ive heard nothing but good things about the 26" Samsung teles. MS themselves use them to Demo the 360s so that can only be a good thing too.

I have a 26" Samsung R73. The model has probably been superseded now but it's a blinding TV. The predecessors to the R73/R4 were the screens that came with 360 demo units in stores.

I've got a Sammy 26" (Not sure which revision) but it's awesome, the colours from the 360 at 720p are so rich and full when playing PGR4 it really does feel like your driving a car. Superb bit of kit :)

My brother got a 26" Panasonic Viesa (not sure which model but it's got that in the corner) and we have compared the 2 and the colours on mine are much much richer, and the tv is sharper in general.

The Sammy looks awesome when it's off as well.

Get the Sammy ;)

The new Panasonics are rated amazingly high in last months "What Hi-Fi" magazine. It rates the samsungs as good "value-mid" range but not as good as the Panasonics.

I think it was this tv: Panasonic TX-26LMD70

Samsung or LG are what you want,

I currently have a 26" HD LCD TV by Technosonic... a nono make but the TV itself is perfect and im more than happy to have it, especially for the price.

Bought it about 2-3 weeks ago, i love it, i play in HD on my 360 and its mint, have my speakers linked up and everything...

Its mint as!

Only problem is i cant get proper TV until i but myself some more kit to go with it..

The TV i have got was something like 220 delivered, nxt day from the bay, awsome deal and a perfect cond TV.

I bought a second hand Samsung LE26R51BDX for a mere £120. Perfect working order. The demo pods use the smaller 23" version. Cracking screen for the 360.
