I've got around £500 to spend on a 26" LCD HDTV and I'm struggling to decide on which one to get. I've looked at Samsung and LG models, but someone suggest I look at the Toshiba's aswell and now I'm confused.

Can someone help recommemd me one please, it will be mainly used to watch SDTV and play the 360 through it.

I have the Samsung 26" LE26R74BDX. It's an awesome TV for the 360, and really looks the part too. Although, it hasn't replaced my Panasonic CRT for SDTV viewing. I live in a good reception area aswel (around 90% signal strength) and the picture just wasn't as good as the CRT. Can't comment on the Toshibas and LGs SDTV quality though

Forgot to mention, the TV will be hooked up to my sky box aswell, so don't know if that will make much of a difference.

Unfortunately the 32" version is too big for my room hence going for the 26". Perhaps should have mentioned that :o

I second that, but when you use sky I recommend using a IXOS gold scart because the bog standard scarts make the picture awful. The high definition on it is great though.

I'm in the same boat and I'm also looking at the Samsung R7X range, though when I went to view a few at a well known hi-fi shop I thought the Philips 26PF5321 displayed SD better, oh well I might make my mind up one day.
