Anyone recommend a place i can get a set of wheels from on the cheap?

They dont need to be anything special.

They're to fit a specialized hardrock 2011 (Standard edition) that has 26" wheels.

Its my old bike that the rims are totally knackred and it needs new brake calipers too,Doesn't get used very often but it makes a great backup just in case my main bike is out of service for some reason. (i use my bike to get to and from work daily.) ;)

So id like to get it back in service but on the cheap,Ive seen a few sets on the well known auction site for £45,But then id need to get new brake too so that pumps the price up.

Ideally i want to fix it up as cheap as possible as like mentioned,Its a backup bike.;)

Thanks for replying chaps. ;)

Decathlon sell them cheap.
Just had a look on their website, theyre anything but cheap to be honest..too expensive.

Check on-one out for wheelsets also
Super too expensive. :p

Also you can often pick up 26er wheelsets on singletrack classifieds

Couldn't see any on there right now,Is this a trusted place?..maybe i could ask if anyone has any.

EDIT - Just seen a pair (brand new) on the auction website for £45

Do you need disk brake or old fashioned rim brakes, if the latter, then you might be better off looking for a complete bike off gumtree or something, find one that's got half decent wheels and hubs, then just scrap the rest of it.
