260.99 stablity issues (fixed)

few days I raised a thread about memory issues playing games on my computer

i was running 280GTX SLI & 260.99 Drivers

the problem i was having was massive slow down (drop to 7fps) sometimes freezing & sometimes run out memory,

i found a weird reason for my issues that seemed to resolve it.

The drivers 260.99 for some reason the fan speeds are only put up to 40% even when i reached 75c.

i know GPU can handle more but i installed msi afterburn changed the fan profile so at 70c it on around 65-70% & all my issues have gone away

i thought i should let others know to see if they had silmair issues

I was getting random crashes in TF2 and L4D2 with 260.99. After updating the driver to 265.90 the problems seem to have gone.

On the gtx 280, the fan speed stays at 40% until the card hits 85c on auto fan, im on driver ver 260.99, pretty stable, though no support for sli in 3d mark 11, could switch to 265.90 with the modified inf, but not worth the hassle so ill wait for the next official release.

260.99's here not had any crashes at all in bfbc2 l4d1 and 2 or just cause 2........(touch wood)
