260 and 460 cards, diff in length?

I have a xfx 260 card and might be getting a 460 card, wondering if the 460 are longer or just the same length as the 260.

My 460 was quite a bit shorter than the GTX 275 it replaced. As far as i know the 275 is the same length as the 260 :)
 
Hmm from what i have found the 460s are about 8.25in whereas my 260 is 10.5in.

Edit - Hmm the asus one seems to be 9.8" long so must be a bit longer than stock ones or somit.

length wise shorter, most 260's had a reference cooler making them thinner so some 460's stick out sidewise like the MSI s it might be wider.
 
Dont mind the width its just lenght i was worried about because my 260s pciE connectors connect on the top of the card (facing side of case) but the 460s connectors are at the back of the card which if the 460 was the same length id only have 1cm or a bit more space available, but luckliy the 460 is a bit shorter so thats ok.
